The name of the ASSOCIATION is INCORPORATED TRUSTEES of CASHEW PROCESSORS AND PACKAGERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (Hereinafter referred to as ” THE ASSOCIATION”).
The address of the ASSOCIATION shall be: SITUATED IN NIGERIA
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
To work towards alleviating common challenges in the processing of cashew in Nigeria.
To foster good business, trading relationship among all cashew processors in Nigeria.
Establish a common purse to generate funding for the activities of the association and to solve or address common industry concerns in the best interest of registered members.
Identify and leverage regional and international opportunities for the common good of Nigeria processors.
Mobilize capacity building support for farmers including other stakeholders whose activities have a direct or indirect impact on processing activities and business in Nigeria.
To support the Nigerian government in sustaining and developing policy(s) that will aid and accelerate the growth and development of cashew processing in Nigeria, benefitting local farmers and the Nigeria economy.
To bring about employment opportunities for Nigerians through the business of cashew processing.
To work in collaboration with all Government Agencies towards ensuring that cashews are processed locally in Nigeria thereby providing employment opportunities.
To share knowledge, technical partnership etc among all cashew processors in Nigeria.
To do all other things that will positively advance the processing of cashew in Nigeria.
To promote the welfare and interest of members.
To promote peace, unity and good relations among members of the association.
To mobilize and sensitize members on issues affecting their welfare
To promote information sharing and exchange of ideas amongst members.
To assist each other by benchmarking innovative information on processing and sharing best practices among members to improve the business environment for processing.
To collaborate with similar associations, individuals, government and international agencies in the furtherance of its objectives.
To engage in any other activity ancillary or incidental to achieving the above objectives.
To positively impact on the standard of living of cashew producing communities by implementing agricultural resilience programs/initiatives in partnership with government and its agencies.
